Introducing Our Esteemed President

We are honored to present Brig. Gen. Md. Nasimul Gani (Retd.), a distinguished advisor to the Al Ghani Foundation. With 36 years of military service, including critical UN peacekeeping missions in Somalia (1993-94) and South Sudan (2005-06), Gen. Gani brings unparalleled leadership and a global perspective to our mission of advancing mental health support for Bangladeshi students.

A decorated infantry officer, he served as Defense Attaché in Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain (2012–2016), fostering cross-cultural collaboration. His academic excellence spans a Ph.D. from Jahangirnagar University, advanced military studies in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and the U.S., and authorship of three books and numerous scholarly articles.

Renowned for his integrity, strategic insight, and dedication to societal well-being, Gen. Gani’s expertise enriches our efforts to empower youth through education and mental health advocacy.
